What is the purpose of an Investor Brief?
Would you recommend someone attend a job interview without a resume? They may still get the job but does a resume improve one's chances? Better yet, does a resume that communicates the opportunity one brings to an employer clearly and concisely improve one's chances?
Apply the same principal to approaching an investor and the purpose of an investor brief becomes clear. Consider the number of applicants a job advertisement attracts compared to the 100s of investment opportunities an investor receives on a continuous basis.
A professionally produced investor brief basically gets an investment opportunity to the top of the pile. All investment opportunities always compete on their own merit but a professional well structured investor brief showcases that merit in a format and in a transparent manner that gives the opportunity the greatest chance of getting the investor's attention.
What is the Process?
Day 1 - The service commences with an initial consultation where the bulk of investment opportunity is communicated to a Consultant. This is all that is required by the client - and staying available to provide further information if needed.
Day 2 - During the next few days there is much communication between the Consultant and the client where the Consultant is fine tuning the information which they include in the investor brief.
Day 3 - the client receives a draft version of the investor brief. This gives them the opportunity to offer feedback and make changes with the Consultant to the investor brief.
Day 4 - The service ends around day 4 and the client is given a Word version and PDF version of the investor brief.
The service is available all over Australia and may be offered remotely.
